Trips by Destination

Costa Rica

Having cycled all over Ireland, we have found the western coast region including Ennis, the Aran Islands and Connemarato have the most spectacular scenery, with a tremendous abundance of historical monuments, a rich and unique culture, warm and inviting people, and surprisingly few tourists. The hotels and food are a highlight with genuine hospitality. This should be our most popular tour!

Accommodations

Hotel Grano de Oro , San Jose

This hotel is a converted mansion with Victorian décor, polished wooden floors and rooftop terrace. The restaurant with its hacienda-style décor, is acclaimed as one of the best in San Jose.

Located west of La Fortuna, this peaceful jungle lodge has rooms with balconies offering volcano vistas, large, comfortable beds and a swimming pool.
